Luxury & Specialty Finishes
Hand-painted marble effects that replicate the beauty of natural stone on any surface.
Overview
Faux marble — or marbling — is an ancient decorative art that replicates the beauty of natural stone through hand-painting. Our artisans study actual marble slabs to recreate the subtle veining, color shifts, and translucent depth that make real marble so captivating. Applied to columns, fireplace surrounds, bathroom vanity walls, and architectural details, this technique brings the luxury of Calacatta, Carrara, or any marble variety to surfaces where real stone isn't practical or affordable.
Our Process
We select or custom-develop the marble style you want — from classic white Carrara to dramatic Nero Marquina.
Surfaces are smoothed and primed with the appropriate base color for your selected marble.
Background colors and subtle tonal variations are built up to create the depth of natural stone.
Our artists hand-paint each vein using fine brushes and feathers, matching natural marble patterns.
Glazes and translucent layers are added to create the luminous depth found in real marble.
Multiple coats of clear sealer are applied for durability and a realistic stone-like sheen.
